This policy explains what information Second Mouse Labs collects when you visit 2ndmouselabs.com and how it is used. The Hockey Voice app has its own Hockey Voice Privacy Policy.

Information you give us

The website has two forms. We only receive what you type into them.

Future sports waitlist

• First name, last name and email address
• The sports you are interested in, including any sport you type into the "Other" field

We use this to let you know when an app for your sport is available.

Hockey Voice feedback form

• Your email address, if you choose to give it
• The type of feedback (suggestion, bug report or praise) and your message

We use this to improve Hockey Voice and, if you gave an email address, to reply to you.

Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet through Google Apps Script, and only Second Mouse Labs has access to them. We keep them until you ask us to remove them, or until we no longer need them for the purpose above. We never sell them, share them with advertisers, or use them for advertising.

Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics (through Google Firebase) to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar browser storage to recognise a returning browser. It may collect:

• The pages you view and how you arrived at the site (for example, a search engine or a link from another site)
• Clicks on the Google Play and App Store badges and on the site's buttons
• Plays of the audio demos, use of the share buttons, and that a form was submitted (never what you typed into it)
• Browser, device type and operating system
• Approximate geographic region (derived from your IP address by Google — not stored or visible to us)

Analytics data never includes your name, email address or form messages. It is kept for up to 14 months. For more on how Google handles this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party content and services

• YouTube: the home page includes an embedded Hockey Voice demo video in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube (a Google service) does not set cookies when the page loads. If you press play, YouTube may set cookies and collect information about your device and viewing, under Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: the site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google's servers.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which processes technical request information such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages.
• Share buttons: the Facebook, WhatsApp, X, Reddit and email share buttons are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those services unless you click one.
• App stores: the Google Play and App Store badges link to those stores, whose own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Your choices

• To see, correct or delete anything you submitted through a form, email us at the address below.
• To stop analytics collection, use the opt-out add-on or block cookies, as described above.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised.
